About My Clients
You are trying to find balance, you are seeking greater self-knowledge, you want to communicate and listen effectively, but life—yourself—your family, has felt “off.” Therapy is an opportunity to find out what is real. It is a practice of uncovering and seeking truth, greater communication, vulnerability, and belonging. It is a chance to build and practice new skills. I offer supportive, objective, and relational therapeutic support in your journey to know and engage with yourself.
My Background and Approach
I work from a relational, psychodynamic, attachment-based foundation to help you explore relationship building, childhood experiences/trauma, survival/coping mechanisms, shame & guilt, self acceptance, and more. My therapeutic approach is informed by mindfulness, somatic, harm-reduction, and Jungian traditions. I affirm and support queer, trans, and LGBTQ folks’ experiences and lived realities. I have experience working with clients on the ADHD, autism, and difference-in-ability spectrums.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Currently, I work as a therapist in private practice while also serving as a mental health clinician for youth and their families in the foster care system. Before this, I graduated from CIIS in 2023 with an MA in Counseling Psychology where I trained at the sliding scale clinic, Pierce St Counseling Center. I have worked in education, youth development, and social justice related fields for over 10 years. In my personal life, I enjoy reading fiction, cooking, the beach, and being with loved ones.
