I am a trilingual (Mandarin/Taiwanese) therapist, with specialized experience in working with the concerns of Asian communities. No matter your age, your words are powerful and the key to change! Whether it is play therapy for your child or talk therapy as a teen or parent, I work to provide a safe environment for you to feel welcome.
My Background and Approach
I believe in the value of collaborative care and psychological testing data for diagnostic clarification. I will work actively with you, and appreciate the input of significant family members, relevant health-care providers, and educators as necessary to help me see a fuller picture of your overall well-being and to maximize your treatment outcomes. My experiences in therapeutic school, pediatric intensive outpatient, and chemical dependency settings have prepared me to provide services to clients across the life span, with specialized treatment for anxiety, depression, acculturation, family conflict, trauma, crisis evaluation, and IEP development with the support of psychological testing. Together, we will build on your strengths, and prepare you for the obstacles ahead.
