About My Clients
My clients are thoughtful, self-aware adults who often carry the invisible weight of childhood trauma, emotionally immature parents, or intergenerational wounds. They may struggle with boundaries, body shame, or people-pleasing. Many have tried talk therapy but still feel stuck. They're ready to go deeper—healing through EMDR, IFS, and somatic work to reconnect with their inner child and reclaim their voice, safety, and sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I’m a trauma therapist with a background in EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing. My approach is relational, compassionate, and rooted in deep respect for your nervous system’s wisdom. I specialize in helping adults heal from childhood trauma, emotionally immature parenting, and body shame. I believe talk therapy alone isn’t always enough — real healing happens when we bring the body, emotions, and inner parts into the room. Whether you’re working through people-pleasing, chronic self-doubt, or patterns that no longer serve you, our work together can help you feel more grounded, connected, and whole. I provide a warm, culturally affirming space where you don’t have to explain your identity or defend your pain. My goal is to support you in reclaiming your voice, tending to your inner child, and building a life that feels like yours.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is possible — not because we forget the past, but because we learn to relate to it differently. I trust that every part of you, even the ones that feel stuck, overwhelmed, or ashamed, has a story worth listening to. I believe the body holds wisdom that talk alone can’t always reach, and that true healing involves both safety and connection. I also believe that many of the struggles we carry — people-pleasing, perfectionism, feeling “too much” — are not personal failures, but protective responses to environments that didn’t fully see or nurture us. I honor the courage it takes to begin this work and believe you don’t need to do it alone. In therapy, I walk alongside you — not as someone with all the answers, but as a guide who helps you slow down, listen inward, and make space for the healing you deserve.
