About My Clients
I work with children, teens, adults, and older adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, identity, life transitions, relationships, communication, or self-esteem. My approach is warm, client-centered, and culturally sensitive. As a trilingual therapist (Korean, Mandarin, and English), I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients from diverse backgrounds can feel understood and empowered.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC), I believe therapy is a partnership where your voice leads the way. My background working with diverse age groups allows me to adapt my approach to fit your unique need, whether you’re a child struggling in school, a teen navigating identity, or an adult facing transitions and stress. Being trilingual in Korean, Mandarin, and English helps me bridge cultural and language gaps so clients feel fully understood. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices, tailoring each session to meet you where you are. More than just managing symptoms, I aim to help you uncover strengths, develop new tools, and build a life that feels authentic and meaningful to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value creating a space where every client feels seen, respected, and accepted for who they are. As someone who has lived in multiple cultures, I deeply understand the importance of identity, belonging, and navigating cultural expectations. I believe in the power of empathy and human connection to heal and inspire growth. I am passionate about fostering inclusivity and cultural sensitivity, and I bring that commitment into every session. My goal is to walk alongside you with compassion and curiosity, creating a safe place where you can explore, heal, and thrive.
