About My Clients
I provide depth psychotherapy to adults who are experiencing sadness, fear, anxiety, loneliness or self-criticism. I do this work to help them find a path to healing, belonging and wholeness. Whether you experience depression or anxiety, have difficulty forming or maintaining relationships, therapy can help. Most people find therapy to be helpful, however those who are truly motivated to create positive change in their own lives may find the process of therapy truly transformational.
My Background and Approach
I believe that our suffering has meaning and that when we can develop a curiosity towards our experience we often discover paths forward to healing. I take a compassionate and collaborative approach to help you uncover what is holding you back and keeping you in a place where you feel “stuck”. I believe the aim of therapy should be to increase insight and self-awareness so you can begin to make the best choices for your authentic self. I believe the relationship between client and therapist is a critical factor in the work. As such, I believe it is my responsibility to be my authentic self in the therapy room as well. I may have the expertise, but you are the expert of your own experience and story. My role is to witness you, to hold space, and to accompany and guide you on your journey.
