About My Clients
I specialize in working with adults (people age 18+) who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or major life changes. I have specialized training working with people who are LGBTQIA+ and the adoption community. I also have experience in working with people who have experienced religious trauma or are going through a faith transition.
My Background and Approach
Clinically, I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), which is a therapy utilized to reprocess trauma. I am a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) practitioner, which is a trauma-informed parenting intervention. I also love and utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as attachment theories, in my practice.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My biggest belief as a therapist is that people deserve to be fully themselves in a therapy space without judgment. I strive to provide this in my practice.
