About My Clients
I work with children, teens, and families navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Many of my clients struggle with big emotions, feeling misunderstood, or needing support at school or home. I offer a calm, affirming space where healing begins with being seen and heard. I also support caregivers who want to deepen connection and find hope in their parenting journey. You don’t have to have it all figured out — we’ll take the next steps together.
My Background and Approach
I created Beloved Joy Therapy in memory of my mom — a woman whose love shaped my life in quiet, powerful ways. The name is a reflection of her: my beloved, her joy. It’s also a reflection of what I hope to offer others — a space where healing is possible, and joy can return, even after loss. After losing my mom, I stepped into a role as a house parent at Mooseheart Child City and School. In the middle of my own grief, I was surrounded by children navigating their own losses and life transitions. Their presence, humor, and resilience helped reawaken a part of me I thought I had lost. Their joy gave me strength. That experience began my healing journey and eventually led me to the work I do now — walking alongside children, teens, and families with compassion, authenticity, and hope. I believe we all carry pain, but we also carry the capacity to grow, reconnect, and heal. At Beloved Joy Therapy, I strive to create a space where people feel seen, heard, and empowered.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I approach therapy grounded in Christian values of compassion, grace, and unconditional love. I believe in walking alongside clients with kindness and respect, honoring each person’s unique journey and faith. My commitment to hope and healing is shaped by these values, and I welcome clients from all backgrounds and beliefs. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore growth and find peace.
