My Background and Approach
I specialize in trauma processing and am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). EMDR therapy is an evidence based therapy for relieving the effects of trauma such as the fear of rejection or failure and self-consciousness in social situations. I can help you let go of your past hurts and learn how to cope with intense anxiety.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I also specialized in treating anxiety and depression due to multicultural issues (loss of identity, career issues, & dysfunctional family/relationship dynamics). These issues can cause a lack of clarity, which results in intense anxiety. I can help you find relief from your suffering and move towards your goals. I also provide therapy in Korean.
