Our clients are individuals, couples, and families living at the intersection of diverse cultures, backgrounds and identities. Many, perhaps like you, are seeking coping skills, greater clarity, peace, rest, and refuge from a world that is often isolating and harsh. Our clients are ready and willing to meet themselves with greater curiosity, empathy, and authenticity.
My Background and Approach
You can find a variety of therapeutic approaches and orientations across our practice. Many of our clinicians practice from a trauma-informed framework and complete additional training in their chosen modalities. We take continuing education seriously and create opportunities for clinicians to pursue their interests. This ensures our clients receive high quality care that is grounded in current ideas and research.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
For us, true wellness is about finding the way back to authenticity and deep connection--a place where body, mind, and spirit are working in alignment. For many of us at HoneyB, this looks like involvement and advocacy in our communities, practicing creativity, and/or investing in our individual wellness through intentional self-care.
However you choose to define wellness for yourself is great. We want to support you getting there and believe you will know when you are on the right path. That said, undertaking a healing journey is no small feat. It can often get harder before it gets easier, which is why the gentle guidance and extra accountability of a therapist can be so helpful. We believe everyone benefits when people get the support they need.
