About My Clients
Many of my clients are adults navigating anxiety, burnout, chronic stress, grief/loss, or substance use concerns. Many are highly self-aware and insightful but feel stuck despite understanding their patterns intellectually. They often feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted from constantly pushing through. I help clients slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move beyond insight alone by building practical coping skills, processing underlying emotions, and creating meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I specialize in anxiety, burnout, substance use, and emotional overwhelm. Using a blend of CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, and somatic approaches, I help clients move beyond overthinking, reconnect with themselves, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change. I believe therapy works best as a person-centered process tailored to your needs and goals. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard while also gently challenged toward growth. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to do it alone. When you’re ready, I’d be honored to walk alongside you in the process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m passionate about helping people reconnect with themselves and create lives that feel more meaningful, balanced, and authentic. I connect especially well with people who feel overwhelmed, burned out, disconnected, or angry at the world around them. While I don’t pretend to have all the answers, I believe people heal through feeling seen, understood, and less alone in what they carry. I value authenticity, curiosity, humor, social justice, and compassion in my work and personal life. I’m actively involved in causes that support equity and human rights, and I strive to create an affirming, inclusive space for all clients. Outside of therapy, I’m an animal and nature lover who deeply values connection, growth, and finding moments of peace in an often stressful world.
