About My Clients
My areas of focus include identity exploration, anxiety, self-harm behaviors, relationship dynamics, and life transitions. I’m passionate about supporting LGBTQ+ clients and those exploring identity, helping each feel affirmed and empowered. I also support young adults navigating trauma, helping them process experiences, build self-understanding, create a stronger sense of self, and develop tools for healing, resilience, and addressing past concerns.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is grounded in authenticity, collaboration, and creating a space where clients feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are. I believe therapy works best when it feels human and relational rather than distant or overly clinical. In sessions, I bring a warm, down-to-earth presence along with curiosity, empathy, and sometimes a bit of humor. My goal is to create an environment where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences while also feeling supported and understood. I use a flexible, integrative approach that draws from person-centered therapy, DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and process-oriented work. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, self-harm, relationship stress, identity exploration, or life transitions, I’ll be in your corner. You don’t need to have it all figured out—just showing up is enough.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
A core part of my values also includes a strong commitment to affirmation, equity, and creating spaces where marginalized identities are respected and supported. I care deeply about supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, trans and gender-diverse folks, and women navigating systems that have often invalidated or minimized their experiences. I believe therapy should be a place where people do not have to explain or defend who they are in order to be accepted. Creating an affirming environment where identity, self-expression, and exploration are welcomed is an essential part of the work I do.
