About My Clients
I work with older adults, caregivers, and couples navigating life transitions such as retirement, changing roles, relationship strain, and loss. Many of my clients feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward. They are often looking for practical support to help things feel more manageable and to improve connection, clarity, and confidence in their day-to-day lives.
My Background and Approach
With over a decade of experience in dementia care, I support individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and shifting roles. I help clients find practical, meaningful ways to cope and adjust as needs change over time. I primarily use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), a goal-oriented approach focused on identifying what’s working and building practical steps forward. I also incorporate other approaches as needed to fit each client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and respected—especially during times when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. I don’t believe therapy needs to be complicated or drawn out to be meaningful. Small, intentional changes can create real momentum. I trust that clients know their lives best, and my role is to help bring clarity, direction, and steady support. I value honesty, consistency, and creating a space where you can show up as you are without judgment. You don’t need to have everything figured out—I’m here to help you make sense of things and take the next step.
