About My Clients
Living a life that feels meaningful and connected can be difficult with the many challenges we face personally, in our relationships and communities. If you're feeling stuck, anxious, or withdrawn and yearning to feel more alive, closer to others, and a sense of peace within yourself, therapy can provide an opportunity to build hope for a different future. As a therapist, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what's keeping you stuck and provide tools to help create a new path forward.
My Background and Approach
As a trained and experienced therapist in both short-term and long-term therapy, I provide compassionate support to help you navigate challenges and create lasting change. My approach is collaborative, warm, and culturally responsive, and I am experienced in working with college students and LGBTQIA+ individuals. With a background in trauma, relationship issues, and loss, I help clients process difficult emotions, deepen connections, and access their innate healing abilities. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or interpersonal difficulties, I provide tools and interventions that focus on both immediate symptom relief and long-term change. Therapy is a place of hope and connection where self-reflection, exploration, and honest support can help you discover your natural resilience and strengths.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a warm and culturally sensitive therapist, I believe in creating a safe, inclusive space for all individuals seeking mental wellness. As a bi/pansexual person, I understand the importance of representation and visibility in therapy and strive to create a supportive environment for LGBTQ+ individuals. I recognize the impact of systemic oppression, including white supremacy, on mental health, and am committed to unlearning these harmful beliefs and practices in both my personal and professional life. I firmly believe that mental wellness is a fundamental human right, and that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care. I recognize the interconnectedness of mental health and social justice, and believe in the importance of addressing both individual and systemic barriers to mental wellness. My personal beliefs center around creating a welcoming and affirming space for all individuals and working collaboratively to promote growth, healing, and social change.
