About My Clients
One of my areas of specialty is working with men. I understand men may experience and express struggles as anger, isolation, or burnout rather than sadness. My approach acknowledges and breaks through the cultural stigma men often face in mental health. I use evidence-based, strengths-focused therapy to create a space where you can feel heard and supported.

Our work together will help you build greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-compassion, and self-love, allowing you to live authentically, guided by your “True Hum.” My approach is deeply relational, experiential, and strengths-based, often integrating Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you connect with your inner wisdom and foster lasting change. Our work together will help you build coping skills, enhance self-understanding, and accomplish your goals for healing and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have over a decade of experience working for the public good. I take honor in supporting the ability for all people to thrive; what starts with one spreads. I hold specialized training related to attachment, trauma, addiction. I embrace continuing education to provide the very best in care. I celebrate diversity and work inclusively across all social identities. I also recognize privileges I hold. This drives me to examine my biases, create balance in power, and empathetically respect the individuality of experience. When I’m not in the therapy room, I might be enjoying music with my partner, playing fetch with my pups, walking in nature with a friend, or taking my mom to see a movie on the big screen!
