About My Clients

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or yearning for a deeper connection with others and yourself, therapy can be your catalyst for change. In our collaborative sessions, you'll find a judgment-free zone to explore the barriers holding you back and gain the tools to move forward. You're not just a client; you're a valued partner in this journey toward better mental health.

My Background and Approach

My practice blends extensive research experience at Stanford University with practical, multidisciplinary training at Denver Health. I received my PhD at Palo Alto University. With years spent in specialized group practices and diverse healthcare settings, I now operate my own private practice. I focus on anxiety, OCD, and couples counseling, using evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure Therapy. I enrich my work with couples through additional training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Tailoring my approach to the unique needs of each individual, I aim for client empowerment and lasting change. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions and am licensed to practice online therapy in 39 states through PSYPACT.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I firmly believe in the power of acceptance and compassion as the cornerstone of meaningful change. A life-changing accident impacted my ability to walk, which has given me deeper insights into the complexities of chronic pain and shifting identities. These insights inform my practice and highlight the importance of the right support system. My dedication to social, racial, and LGBTQ+ justice is woven into the fabric of my work, grounded in feminist and multicultural values. This isn't just theoretical—it's a lived philosophy that informs every aspect of the therapeutic journey I offer. My ultimate goal is to provide compassionate, individualized, and informed care based on the latest mental health research. If you're curious to learn more, feel free to reach out.
