My Background and Approach
I integrate holistic and evidence-based modalities in my treatment to help you heal and achieve your goals. My approach to treatment is to identify, utilize, and enhance your unique strengths to empower you to heal and reach your goals. With a non-judgmental and compassionate presence, I will offer support needed for you to carefully work through challenges, experience healing and change to begin living a more satisfying life. Addition to feeling supported and safe, you will learn techniques and tools that you can carry with you to help you manage daily stresses of life. I have extensive experience providing therapy to adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship problems, or problems related to childhood traumas and toxic relationships. I am trained in EMDR (recommended therapy for trauma survivors) and Hypnotherapy. I also specialize in providing therapy and supervision to other mental health workers.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people are dynamic, and capable of change & restoration; consequently, I have a deep respect for their resilience and strength. My therapy philosophy is based on the importance of treating individuals with dignity and respect. I believe that a trusting relationship between the therapist and the client is fundamental to the process of therapy. Therefore, I strive to create a confidential, safe, and non-judgmental space for clients to own and process their experiences.
