My Background and Approach
While I enjoy working with clients from all fields, I specialize in treating artists and creative professionals. I bring to my work a background in the entertainment industry; I understand what it takes to cope with the pressures and anxieties of navigating a career in show business. Regardless of where you are now, the unknowns of where you'll end up next can be anxiety-provoking. Sessions will be tailored to your unique needs, goals, and priorities, with an emphasis on LGBTQIA+ affirming, client-centered, strength-based, compassionate, neuroscience-informed, solution-focused care. My hope is that our work together will bring more clarity, creativity, connection, empowerment, satisfaction, and meaning into your life. My personality style is relaxed, non-judgemental, collaborative, authentic, direct, and sometimes humorous.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in inclusivity, access, and the availability of mental health services for all who want and need them. My overarching goal as a healer is to scale and evolve my practice and my work so that I can play a vital role in making mental health services widely available (and ideally free) for all persons who are suffering, regardless of socioeconomic status, geographic location, religion, ethnicity, race, class, gender identification, sexual orientation, age, size, or ability.
