About My Clients
Our clients have often tried "traditional" talk therapy and haven't felt seen, heard, or helped. We believe our clients already have the inner strength and resources to heal themselves and our goal is to help guide them through this process to promote change and healing. Trauma therapy is not a "one size fits all" approach, therefore we treat each client as unique as they are. Together we will work to overcome obstacles and challenges that you are currently experiencing or have experienced.
My Background and Approach
Since our practice is focused on providing inclusive and individualized trauma informed care, our therapists are trained in various evidenced based trauma approaches. We utilize concepts from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma Informed Care, Narrative Therapy, and Client Centered therapy. All of our therapists are licensed or a licensed resident in counseling working towards obtaining licensure. We also believe therapy shouldn't be just for the privileged, therefore we accept BlueCross, CareFirst, and TRICARE insurance plans. We also provide Superbills for clients claiming out of network benefits from insurance. We welcome and accept clients of all sexual, gender, spiritual, and religious orientations.
