About My Clients
I work best with adults who are capable, reflective, and often high-achieving, yet feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected from themselves. Many are navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, or major life transitions. I also support parents raising children with ADHD who are carrying a heavy mental and emotional load and are ready to care for themselves alongside their child.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed psychotherapist with over 18 years of experience helping adults build resilience, strengthen emotional well-being, and reconnect with the life they want to live. I’ve worked across a range of clinical settings, including private practice, inpatient care, veteran services, and community mental health. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Prolonged Exposure, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), while always tailoring treatment to the individual. Therapy with me is not about fixing you — it’s about helping you better understand yourself, build self-trust, and develop practical tools that support meaningful, sustainable change. I offer virtual therapy to adults in South Carolina and work on a self-pay basis.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when it feels steady, human, and collaborative. I value compassion, curiosity, and honoring each person’s lived experience. I’m committed to creating a space that is affirming, inclusive, and respectful of individual identities and family systems. Outside of my clinical work, I’m a mom of two spirited kids and find grounding in nature, community, meaningful conversations, and humor. I believe growth happens not through perfection, but through patience, connection, and showing up for ourselves with honesty and care. I bring that same perspective into my work with clients.
