About My Clients
I work well with people navigating grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life changes, including suicide loss, fertility challenges, and new parenthood. I also welcome caregivers supporting loved ones with dementia or serious illness, people affected by sudden brain injury, and those in film, television, and other creative fields. Dog lovers are welcome too, and dogs can join in-person sessions.
My Background and Approach
My path here includes years in film and television, work with children, helping lead grief support groups, and supporting families navigating dementia. Life rarely follows a neat script, and I believe humor can have a place even when things are hard. Bring the tangled story, the meme that says it all, and your dog if you like. We can start wherever you are.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people can grow and change throughout their lives. Our ways of coping often began for a reason, and understanding that story can help us choose what we want to carry forward. Losing my brother to suicide deepened my belief that grief deserves company, compassion, and room to be complicated. I try to bring curiosity, warmth, humor, and respect for each person’s identity into my work. I’m especially committed to affirming LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent people. I also believe dogs can make a hard conversation a little easier, and that telling me about your favorite show is a perfectly good place to start. If this sounds like the kind of space you’re looking for, I’d be glad to connect.
