About My Clients
I provide testing for children, adolescents and adults for ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Developmental Disabilities, and Gifted Identification. I provide therapy through a strength-based approach specializing in working with culturally and linguistically diverse clients, twice-exceptional clients, clients who are neurodiverse, clients who suffer from anxiety & depression and stress related to racism, discrimination and immigration/acculturation. Services are provided in English and Spanish.
My Background and Approach
I have practiced in Denver, CO since 1999. I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and practice cultural humility to honor your values, beliefs and practices and integrate them into our work together. I was a professor at the University of Denver, Graduate School of Professional Psychology from 2016 to 2022, in the area of Latinx Psychology & Assessment and Mental Health Services. Services can be provided in English and/or Spanish.
