About My Clients
In my over two decades worth of experience I have had success in treating a diverse amount of mental health diagnosis as well as dual diagnosis. I specialize in the treatment of addictions (LAC) as well as past and present trauma (CCTP). I believe that trauma is at the root of many mental health and addiction issues. Until these traumas are processed, I believe that healing from maladaptive coping skills is much more difficult.
My Background and Approach
I graduated from the University of Montana in 2003 with my BSW. In 2004, I graduated from the Walla Walla School of Social Work with honors. In addition, I interned at the St. Patrick Addiction Treatment Program in Missoula, Mt in acute, inpatient, outpatient and aftercare capacities. I am fortunate that I had truly found my professional calling at a young age and it has been my passion my entire working life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I know that my clients will not open up and let me try to help them if they do not feel confident with my ability to help them. Therefore, I strive to be my authentic self while collaborating with my clients to provide them the support and guidance to help them heal and live a healthy, happy life.
