About My Clients
Care That Begins With You. I work with adults and older adults who are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, grief, trauma, or the emotional toll of illness and caregiving. Many of my clients are navigating major life changes, loss, or end-of-life concerns. I provide a safe, compassionate space to explore these experiences and move toward healing. If you’re feeling stuck, exhausted, or alone in what you’re carrying, I’m here to help you find steadiness and relief.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience helping adults and older adults through anxiety, grief, trauma, and life transitions. I’m licensed in WI, MI, MN, IN and IL and hold a Master’s in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. My approach is warm, practical, and focused on what works. I’ll help you build a personalized set of tools to calm your body, steady your thoughts, and regain a sense of control. Whether you’re dealing with medical stress, caregiving burnout, or unresolved trauma, we’ll work together to address what’s most pressing. I offer telehealth therapy on evenings and weekends, so support is available when you need it most.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing is possible at any stage of life—and that even in the midst of pain, people have the capacity for growth, meaning, and change. I don’t believe you need to “just get over it” or pretend things are fine when they’re not. I believe in making space for grief, honoring the hard stuff, and helping you find your footing again. I also believe therapy should be practical and down-to-earth. You deserve tools that actually help—whether it’s learning to manage anxiety, cope with loss, or face the unknown with more confidence. I work to create an affirming space where all people feel safe and heard, and where your lived experience is respected.
