About My Clients
In our first session, we will start start discussing a little more of what brings you to therapy. Assessing all of your needs (body, mind, spirit) that have been neglected is also very important. Together, we'll set goals and work toward meeting all those needs one at a time. I am big on education so I like to share all the educational tools that I have in my toolkit to teach you more about the workings of your body-mind connection. I also use mindfulness tools to teach calm the anxious mind.
My Background and Approach
I obtained my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2015 but I have been practicing since 2012. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am also certified in Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health. I have extensive experience working with individuals from all walks of life. I am interested in exploring the unconscious mind while engaging the conscious mind when processing and healing from trauma. I use psychodynamic, trauma-informed and integrative tools (e.g. nutrition, herbal remedies, among others) to heal the body, mind and spirit.
