My treatment focus is person-centered and holistic, recognizing each person’s identity and culture. I work with individuals struggling with trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, existential and identity concerns, relationship concerns, and life changes. I work with individual adults 18 years +.
My Background and Approach
I come to you with many life experiences that have allowed me to approach therapy with a compassionate, non-judgmental lens to meet you where you are in this very moment. I am honored to walk beside you on your own journey of self-discovery. My treatment focus is person-centered and holistic, recognizing each person’s identity and culture. I work with individual struggling with trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, existential and identity concerns, relationship concerns, and life changes. I work with adults 18 years +. I incorporate a variety of therapeutic approaches, including: Somatic EMDR, IFS, parts work, Creative Therapy, Positive Self-talk, Grief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindful Practice, and Psychedelic Therapy integration. I received my Master's degree at Marylhurst University in 2013 with a specialty in art therapy and counseling. I have worked for many years in community mental health. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
When I am not being a therapist, you will find me engaged in bicycling and enjoying many of the creative events that Portland has to offer. I am a creative-minded person and dabble in my own creative adventures with sewing, painting, dance, and drawing. I embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion. I am a strong supporter of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I support our freedom to protest peacefully and hope for a world where each person gets to live their life to their fullest potential without discrimination or injustice.
