About My Clients

Have you spent years wondering why everyday tasks seem harder for you than everyone else? Maybe you've been called lazy, careless, or "full of potential," yet you've always felt like you were working twice as hard just to keep up. Whether you've recently been diagnosed with ADHD or are beginning to wonder if it explains your lifelong struggles, you're not broken. Together, we'll make sense of your experiences, reduce self-criticism, and build strategies that best fit the way your mind works.

My Background and Approach

Finding a therapist who truly understands ADHD can make all the difference. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I've been helping people since 2018. For nearly five years, I worked at a clinic that specializes in ADHD in collaboration with psychiatrists whose expertise was in ADHD assessment and treatment. I've also completed multiple trainings related to treating ADHD in adults. Like many of my clients, I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD until adulthood. I understand the relief, grief, and self-discovery that can come with finally having an explanation for lifelong struggles. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all coping skills. Together, we'll identify strategies that fit your brain while exploring how ADHD affects your self-esteem, relationships, work, motivation, emotional regulation, and daily life. As your ADHD becomes more manageable, many of these areas can improve as well.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that insight is one of the most powerful catalysts for lasting change. Many people experience similar symptoms, but the reasons behind those symptoms are often very different. That's why I believe it's important to understand the root causes of your struggles rather than simply trying to manage them. Coping skills can be incredibly helpful, but they're most effective when paired with a deeper understanding of why you're experiencing these challenges in the first place. This is why I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I'm also passionate about helping people better understand ADHD. I believe there are still many misconceptions about what ADHD actually looks like and how profoundly it can affect nearly every area of a person's life. Too often, people are labeled as lazy, unmotivated, or careless when they're actually struggling with an undiagnosed or misunderstood neurodevelopmental condition.
