About My Clients
Whatever you're going through, you're here because something isn't working anymore. The ways you learned to cope and survive got you this far, but now they're holding you back. You're tired of feeling stuck in survival mode. I understand, and I've been there. Together, we can honor and release old patterns, without shaming or stigmatizing them, and tap into your inherent strength, wisdom, and adaptability to learn new ways of being so that you're not just surviving—you're thriving.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is client-centered, strengths-based, collaborative, and relational. I got my start as a therapist working in radical harm reduction at the first above-ground safer consumption site in the United States, supporting people who use drugs to live healthier, happier lives. Harm reduction is embedded in all of my work, regardless of your personal substance use history. What this means is: your bodily autonomy and personal agency are sacred to me. I am not here to tell you what to do, impose my own opinions, or pathologize your behavior. My goal is to serve as a compassionate mirror reflecting your inherent wisdom, strength, and capacity for change. Before I was a therapist, I was a comprehensive sexuality educator. I also show up to this work with lived experience as a queer, non-monogamous, kinky, neurodivergent former sex worker. All of this equips me to foster a genuinely empathetic, open, and judgement-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.
