About My Clients
I work with adults who may appear capable and composed while privately feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted. Clients often seek support for trauma, grief, burnout, relationship concerns, major life changes, self-esteem, and emotional regulation. I welcome veterans, first responders, healthcare professionals, educators, parents, professionals, and anyone ready to better understand themselves and create healthier patterns.
My Background and Approach
My approach is warm, direct, practical, and personalized. I believe therapy should provide a space where you can speak honestly without feeling judged, pressured, or expected to have everything figured out. We will begin by identifying what has been weighing on you, the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and what you would like to change. From there, I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapy, emotional regulation strategies, and practical problem solving based on your needs and goals. Some sessions may focus on processing painful experiences, while others may involve communication, boundaries, relationships, decision making, or managing daily stress. Humor is welcome when appropriate because therapy does not have to feel cold or overly clinical. My goal is to help you feel understood, build useful skills, strengthen your sense of self, and create changes that feel realistic and sustainable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to feel respected, heard, and safe in therapy. I value authenticity, compassion, personal choice, cultural humility, and honest communication. I welcome clients from different backgrounds, identities, beliefs, relationships, and life experiences. Therapy should not require you to hide parts of yourself or fit into someone else’s expectations. My role is to support you in defining what healing, growth, and a meaningful life look like for you.
