About My Clients
My ideal client is struggling with addiction, an eating disorder, anxiety or depression; Open to cognitive behavior based treatment methods and learning various coping techniques . My ideal client is looking to find the spark they need to change their life.
My Background and Approach
I started working with addiction/Co-occurring disorders In treatment centers in 2013 while under supervision. I became a licensed psychotherapist in 2016 and a qualified supervisor and master’s level certified addiction professional shortly after.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe anyone can change if they find the strength within themselves. I hope to empower you to make the changes you need to in order to be happy with your life. I was primarily educated in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused therapy. As a young adult I suffered from an eating disorder, I lost 140 lbs and have been in recovery for 10 years. I learned how to cope with life’s ups and downs, studying and practicing different view points and skills. I have personal and professional experience that I desire to make useful by helping you make progress, one step at a time.
