About My Clients

I work with LGBTQIA+ individuals, including those navigating gender identity, transition, or detransition, as well as healthcare professionals, leaders, and performing artists. Many of the people I support experience anxiety, burnout, identity shifts, and the pressure of high-demand environments. They often feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them and are looking for clarity, balance, and a stronger, more grounded sense of self.

My Background and Approach

I bring a combined background in counseling and public health, with experience working directly with patients as well as leading multidisciplinary teams within large healthcare systems, including managing specialty clinics at a top children’s hospital. My work has also included collaboration with national organizations such as WPATH, supporting best practices in care for gender diverse individuals. I approach this work through a systems lens, paying attention to the ways environments, structures, and unspoken expectations shape people’s experiences. I believe in bringing those patterns to light and working toward greater equity in how care is delivered and experienced. In sessions, I am direct, engaged, and thoughtful. I value honesty, and I also believe humor can be an important part of the process. My goal is to create a space that is both grounded and real, where meaningful and sustainable change can happen.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people have the capacity to grow and change at any point in their lives when they are given the space, support, and opportunity to do so. What often gets labeled as a personal struggle is rarely just individual. It is shaped by relationships, environments, and larger systems that influence how we see ourselves and move through the world. I believe in questioning and breaking down systems that create barriers to well-being, and in working toward greater equity in how care and support are accessed and experienced. I value honesty, curiosity, and the willingness to look at long-standing narratives with a new lens. At the core of my work is the belief that those narratives can be rewritten. Change is possible, and people are capable of building lives that feel more aligned, grounded, and their own.
