About My Clients
I support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, and systems that have silenced them. Many seek help with overwhelm, executive functioning, and reclaiming their voice through identity exploration. As a veteran and mother, I connect deeply with clients juggling stress, transition, and resilience. I work with teens, college students, and adults. Clients drawn to mindfulness or creative, art‑based processing feel especially at home here.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. I understand the realities of stress, transition, and resilience, and bring both structure and creativity to the therapeutic process. I’ve supported teenagers and young adults in schools and disability service agencies, where I saw firsthand how trauma, anxiety, systemic barriers, and executive functioning challenges shape daily life. These experiences inform my work, grounding my approach in empathy, curiosity, and respect. I integrate mindfulness, DBT skills, and creative or art‑based interventions for clients who enjoy expressive work. My goal is to walk alongside you—honoring your story and helping you build a more grounded, connected life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a human being and a therapist who believes deeply in autonomy, dignity, and the right to define your own identity. I don’t align with patriarchal or dogmatic belief systems; instead, my work is rooted in compassion, critical thinking, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I support LGBTQIA+ communities, disabled clients, and anyone who has felt unheard or marginalized. My values center on equity, curiosity, and creating space where people can explore who they are without judgment. I’m committed to helping clients reclaim their voice, navigate systemic pressures, and build a grounded, authentic life.
