About My Clients
My ideal clients are children, teens, and adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and are longing for change. Many are navigating trauma, attachment wounds, anxiety, or relational challenges. They’re open to curiosity, growth, and new ways forward. Together, we create a safe, supportive space to feel seen and understood while building regulation, strengthening relationships, and moving toward healing and a more grounded sense of self.
My Background and Approach
I’m a licensed social worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals and families through life’s most challenging seasons, including 8 years providing therapy to children and adults. I’ve worked across child welfare and clinical settings, giving me a broad understanding of how systems, relationships, and life experiences shape emotional well-being. I specialize in trauma and attachment and am trained in EMDR, including work with children and adolescents. This allows me to help clients move beyond simply talking about their experiences and toward deeper, more lasting healing. My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity—I work alongside you to understand the “why” behind patterns while building practical tools for regulation and change. Clients often share that they feel safe, seen, and genuinely understood in our work together, which creates the foundation for meaningful growth and connection.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing happens in the context of safe, meaningful connection. My work is grounded in values of compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s story. I hold a deep belief that every individual has inherent worth and the capacity for growth, even in the midst of pain. My perspective is shaped by both my professional experience and my faith, which informs my commitment to hope, grace, and walking alongside others without judgment. As a parent, I understand the complexities of family life and the importance of feeling supported, not criticized, when things are hard. I’m passionate about creating a space where both children and adults feel seen, heard, and valued. I care deeply about mental health awareness, trauma-informed care, and helping reduce stigma so people can seek support with confidence. Whether you’re navigating overwhelm, past experiences, or relationship challenges, my goal is to meet you with authenticity and support as you move toward healing and a stronger
