About My Clients
Do you struggle with overthinking, worrying? Can’t seem to pay attention or get motivated? Are you at a transition in your life and not sure which way to go? I look forward to getting to know you and helping you find ways that work for you to decrease the anxiety, lack of motivation, poor concentration and increase the decision making, productivity and positive thinking. Therapy can be overwhelming and we will work at your pace.
My Background and Approach
One of the things that you will hear me say during the therapy process…….the point of my job is to work myself out of a job. I approach therapy by getting to know you, focusing first on what brought you to therapy and then finding an approach that works for you to decrease that stress. We will look at your strengths and how to utilize them, determine if history is contributing to what is going on and try different tools to figure out what is best for you. Some ways that I have been described are: down to earth, insightful, a good listener, and supportive, with a good sense of humor.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My belief is that by having a safe environment to vent, talk, learn, exchange ideas, receive validation and support, you can become the you that you want to be. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, you can be assured that this is a safe place for you. I love animals and occasionally my furkids like to visit during sessions.
