About My Clients
My experience as a school social worker has prepared me to treat a broad range of issues that may be interfering with a child’s ability to reach their full potential. I specialize in working with children (ages 5+) and adolescents who are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, family changes, trauma, and neurodiversity. I also enjoy collaborating with parents to help them better understand their children’s behavior, deepen connection, and build effective strategies for home and school.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting youth and families. My work is grounded in empathy, playfulness, and trust—tailored to each client’s unique strengths and needs. My integrative approach blends CBT, DBT, EMDR, Play Therapy techniques, Sandtray Therapy, and Mindfulness. I’m also trained in Animal-Assisted Therapy, and my therapy dog, Louis, brings comfort, connection, and joy to sessions. I believe healing begins in safe, affirming relationships and that every child and teen has the capacity to grow and thrive. I also support caregivers—helping them strengthen relationships and navigate challenges with more confidence and clarity.
