About My Clients
I work with people who are doing their best to keep it all together—but underneath, they feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Some are navigating caregiving stress, depression, or complicated family dynamics. Many struggle with boundaries, perfectionism, or constantly feeling like they’re not enough. If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone. I offer a supportive, down-to-earth space where we can sort through what’s weighing on you and help you move toward what matters most.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a background in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, family estrangement, and caregiving-related stress. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), customized to each person’s goals and lived experience. I offer compassionate, evidence-based care that balances emotional insight with actionable tools. Clients often come to me feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or burned out. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen values-based decision-making, and build resilience. Therapy with me is collaborative and down-to-earth—I work to create a space that’s structured but warm, where progress feels both meaningful and sustainable. Whether you’re navigating a major life transition or simply trying to make it through the week, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move toward the life you want.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’m passionate about fostering genuine connection, creativity, time in nature, and the healing power of authenticity. I believe that people are resilient and capable of change, even when life feels stuck or overwhelming. I value empathy, honesty, and humor in the therapy space, and I work to create an environment where clients feel safe, respected, and supported. I welcome individuals from all walks of life and believe therapy should feel approachable and human. Outside of sessions, I enjoy spending time outdoors, working with my hands, and continuing to learn. I love exploring new skills—whether it's gardening, DIY projects, or diving into a challenging new book. Healing is deeply personal, but you don’t have to do it alone.
