About My Clients
Are you always a little bit afraid that an anxiety attack is waiting around the corner? Have you been hit with surprise anxiety more times than you can count? I know exactly what you're feeling: the pounding chest, the shortness of breath, the feeling that the walls are closing in and you need out NOW. Attacks can be terrifying, and I don't want you to have to suffer them anymore. Holistic practices can reduce anxiety tremendously, and I look forward to teaching you tools to take your life back.
My Background and Approach
The first session with Heather will involve an intake in which she will ask several questions in order to get to know you and your situation better. From there you will create a treatment plan together that will outline goals and ways to meet those goals moving forward. Operating from a client-centered approach, Heather is compassionate and trauma-focused. She utilizes play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy, and has received her CCATP certification (Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional). She operates from a solution-focused approach when working with individuals on personal growth.
