My Background and Approach
I am licensed in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Texas State University. I also have obtained a Masters in Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston in Victoria. With professional experience of working at an inpatient psychiatric hospital, in a non-profit setting, and now in private practice, I have a breadth of experience treating a variety of issues in adults. The empirically based therapeutic interventions I use are effective at reducing distressing feelings, as well as improving the overall quality of clients' lives. It is my privilege to provide treatment to adults desiring individual therapy.
