Transpersonal therapy incorporates spiritual elements to provide support to a person in living their fullest life. I am trained in EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure - all considered evidence-based treatments for PTSD. I can work with single-incident trauma as well as complex trauma. I also offer trauma-sensitive yoga and other holistic methods of supporting trauma recovery for those that do not want to "process" their trauma.
I have extensive knowledge in the relationship between stress and chronic illness, and have various tools that can help you cope with the physical, mental and emotional impacts of your limitations.
I am a certified yoga teacher and incorporate bodywork and breathwork into my practice for clients that will benefit. Somatic therapy seems especially effective in the treatment of anxiety, stress and trauma.
I am fully trained in EMDR via EMDRIA-approved training, and have successfully facilitated EMDR through telehealth. I also have specialized training in the safe, effective delivery of EMDR online.
I have 10 years of experience providing CBT to individuals of all ages. I incorporate elements of CBT in most of my work.
