Change can be hard! Grief can result from any loss; a loved one, a job, a pet, a relationship. Changes, like those caused by illness in yourself or others, moving to a new city, or family changes like divorce or blending lives can bring up a lot of emotions. It can make you feel sad, overwhelmed, angry, hurt, confused, lost, and any other number of feelings. Processing all of the feelings associated with loss or a life transition in a safe place can be extremely beneficial.
My Background and Approach
I have been working as a therapist since 2015. While my training is in marriage and family therapy, I have been working with both individuals and couples in a variety of settings including hospice, primary care, private practice, and community mental health. My therapeutic style is transparent and genuine with a good dose of (appropriate) humor. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, grief and loss.
