About My Clients
My clients are individuals in transition from high school to college, college to career, single to relationship, relationship to committed, committed to single, unsure to knowing, receiving a diagnosis, becoming a parent. Life offers us so many transitions and challenges and they are the opportunity for growth. Counseling is your opportunity to work through what is been sitting on your heart or in your mind. It is your space to be you and find your way.
My Background and Approach
I completed my undergraduate education at the University of South Florida earning a Bachelor of Social Work degree with a specialization in child welfare and a focus in women’s studies. After some time spent working in the foster care system, I went on to complete postgraduate studies receiving a Master of Social Work degree in clinical social work. After becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Work in the state of Florida in 2014, I later became a certified clinical social work supervisor. My career has offered me the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and explore many different therapeutic strategies to support my clients. In practice I focus on client centered and solution focused strategies. My goal is to give my clients the space to focus on what is important to them in a setting that is supportive and non judgemental. I also want to help my clients find strategies to be more successful in their careers, relationships, and lives.
