My Background and Approach
Dr. Heather Mak is a psychiatrist with experience in helping patients with issues like hyperactivity disorder, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Dr. Mak welcomes patients at Anew Era TMS & Psychiatry in Torrance, Orange, and Newport Beach, CA. During consultations, she attentively listens to her patients and prepares individualized treatment plans, combining medications and talk therapy. She also addresses caregiver concerns and conducts psychiatry follow-ups to monitor progress. Dr. Mak is a highly qualified professional with a medical degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Additionally, she is certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
