My Background and Approach
After serving in the United States Army, I graduated with honors with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cal Poly Humboldt. I then earned my MA in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. I have worked in community mental health and private practice settings with children, couples, nurses, college students, active military and veterans, and more. I offer client-centered therapy to help you find your path towards change. I offer safe and inclusive support so you can feel seen and heard and move forward to achieve your goals. I work from an eclectic approach including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, and Psychodynamic concepts. Providing client-centered therapy and allowing my clients to feel seen and heard is something that I’m passionate about. I offer support with finding the best strategies to help you cope with feelings of anxiety and depression and feel more prepared to take on life's stressors. Reach out and let's work together to find your path forward.
