About My Clients
I work best with children who are bright, sensitive, and trying hard—but often feel like they’re falling short. Maybe your child is overly self-critical, avoids challenges, or gets stuck in comparison to others. You might hear things like “I’m stupid,” “I can’t do anything right,” or “Nobody likes me,” and it breaks your heart because you see how amazing they truly are. If you're looking for someone to help your child reconnect with their strengths and sense of self-worth, I’m here.
My Background and Approach
With over ten years of experience supporting children across settings including school, community, and home, I have extensive knowledge of the educational system, behavioral health systems, and community resources. I help kids ages 4–12 feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate the ups and downs of growing up. Whether your child is having trouble with anxiety, emotional regulation, social challenges, or adjusting to big life transitions, I create a safe space for children to explore, create, overcome frustrations, build confidence, and find joy. My approach is responsive to the needs of each child. I integrate techniques from play therapy, Ecotherapy, expressive arts, CBT, ACT, relational neuroscience, and Gestalt, within a strengths based, child-centered framework. Using these techniques, I help children to feel understood and gain skills to overcome worries, navigate challenges, and thrive.
