About My Clients
My clients are all people who identify as human.... and some who don't. If you are a teen, individual, or part of a relationship in need of support, I am here for you. While I specialize in sex and sexuality issues, I actively treat issues surrounding depression, anxiety, panic, self-esteem, parenting, stepparenting, loss and grief, anger, stress, and a variety of other issues associated with being a human being. Life is hard, and I am here to support you as you navigate these difficult topics.
My Background and Approach
After completing my BS in Psychology from Washington state I realized that I was interested in the systemic influences that provide the scripts to our lives and experiences. Psychology is a passion of mine, yet it felt very individual in the approach to treatment. I chose to complete the Couple and Family Therapy Masters program at Antioch University Seattle in order to further understand systemic influences on the individual and their systems. During this time I completed a certification in Sex Therapy, which helped me to understand the sexual side of humanity in a way that became a passion. During my internship I worked with the LGBTQIA+ community, straight individuals exploring their sexuality, pregnant women and others as they navigated the anxiety of being pregnant and becoming a parent, and a variety of others experiencing hardship in their relationships with themselves or romantic relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people deserve the space to be seen and heard. I believe that if we want the world to change we have to change it, because no one is listening. I believe that women's rights are not optional and should not be up for debate. I am a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I am a member of Intersectional Feminist communities, I am an ally to American Indian/Indigenous women. I believe that women should not be considered disposable and every missing and murdered woman deserves to be advocated for.
