About My Clients
Do you find yourself wondering things like, "why are relationships so hard or why do I feel so guilty about everything, or perhaps even, why am I like this?" These are tough questions, but more than that, it's tough to feel like things are so difficult. You seek practical skills for reducing the symptoms of anxiety and depression. Additionally, you want to gain a greater understanding of yourself and to enrich your relationships through more effective communication and healthy boundaries.
My Background and Approach
I utilize a strong relational approach to foster sincere and personal connections with my clients. I find that the work of therapy is much more fulfilling when clients feel supported. My approach to working with clients is to help them find the answers they seek by guiding introspection, building practical coping tools and skills, and by educating about and working with the body's autonomic nervous system to facilitate holistic change. I use a variety of approaches and practices to meet the unique needs of each client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is an honor and a privilege to get to do this work. I believe that each individual has the innate potential to create and enjoy a fulfilling existence, free from the suffering that childhood trauma, depression and anxiety cause. My professional intention is to provide a compassionate, accepting, and supportive space for clients to explore, strengthen and develop the skills and tools necessary to achieve their goals.
