About My Clients
I specialize in perinatal loss, maternal and paternal mental health, all types of grief and post traumatic growth. I believe that losing "our people", especially our children can feel impossible, but that with support and trust we can move from the absolute heart break and find new ways of being that honor our ties to our lost loved ones. My goal is to help you hallmark your experience and incorporate your story of loss into who you are becoming.
My Background and Approach
I bring to my practice years of being a hospice spiritual and bereavement counselor, a certification in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and my own experience as a baby-lost parent to create an inclusive space of deep listening and understanding. I am competent in helping folks navigate the trauma, family and social stressors after loss. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher and ordained Buddhist Chaplain through Upaya Zen Center "Being with Dying". I take into consideration the ways oppressive systems impact mental health.
