My work is Individualized, Integrative, Trauma Informed, & Evidence-Based. I worked in the country's (and I believe, the world's) premiere eating disorders program from 2012-2020. In addition to the eating disorders expertise, my experience includes working with individuals and families with a variety of clinical concerns. I transitioned to TelePsychology and I hope to reach more patients and families in the PsyPACT states. As of February 2021, PsyPACT states include: Arizona, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah, & Virginia. North Carolina will be a PsyPACT state, effective 3/1/2021. The following states have *pending* PsyPACT legislation: Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Washington. If your state has not joined PsyPACT, advocate with your state Board of Examiners of Psychologists and legislators.

I am a Christian, with much room yet to grow. Heaven knows true Christianity has been poorly represented...for a while now. My favorite meme is a cartoon of Jesus with the caption: "C'mon you guys, that's not what I said." Also, I digress (-; Jesus was not a white man. I do not provide what is known as "Christian Counseling." I completed research on what is known as God Image, which is the individual's emotional experience of God. However, my work is from a position of a global worldview, with affirmation and unconditional positive regard. My patients have come from a variety of faith and cultural backgrounds. Religion and spirituality are only integrated in the work we do, when/if relevant to the patient and with their desire to do so. I carry a persuasion of service in the community...a shared responsibility to respond...to feed and clothe and shelter those in need...humans and animals alike. Politically, I am independent and value transparency, justice, mercy, humility, and love.
