My Background and Approach
I have over 18 years of experience providing individual, family and group therapy. I have provided therapy in school settings, clinic settings, and within homes. I also have extensive experience in supervising and training fellow therapists in school and clinic environments. I use EMDR, Flash Technique, DBT and CBT in therapy to help teens and adults cope with stress and move beyond traumatic experiences. Some of my specialized training: Certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (trained by Dr. Anthony Mannarino, developer); EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist; Flash Technique Trained (trained by Dr. Philip Manfield, developer); Certified in Mind-Body Medicine.
