About My Clients
I have personally struggled with relating to therapists based on culture, ethnicity, and personal experiences. I want to help those in the community feel comfortable with a therapist that is relatable. I am a bi-racial woman born and raised in Florida. I have overcome adversity and continue to heal from my own trauma through cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness.
My Background and Approach
I have overcome adversity and continue to heal from my own trauma through cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. My story is intense but hopefully inspirational and motivating to make a change. I am a pre-licensed therapist in the State of Hawaii and a licensed psychotherapist in the State of Colorado. I currently live in Hawaii, working with Children and Families. I have my Masters Degree in Forensic Psychology from Colorado. With a Masters in Forensic Psychology, I specialize in behaviors/thoughts/beliefs that are taboo or not acceptable in todays society. I specialize in working with individuals in the justice system, dealing with inequality, dual diagnoses, trauma, and sex offender treatment.
