My Background and Approach
I will incorporate counseling in emotional processing, interpersonal communication, self-care, and career into your sessions because it is our whole lives that determine our happiness and ability to handle stress. I have about 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist. Before becoming a therapist, I worked in business as an efficiencies expert. I have a wide variety of experience from my time in business working in IT and business administration in various markets (from finance to manufacturing). My decision to become a therapist was based on my need to restart my life more happily and healthily a little over 10 years ago. I take a more existential approach to psychotherapy and utilize other approaches such as CBT and DBT and teach about the brain and how it reacts to stress.
